Hi, my name is Elena!

I am a Seattle-based User Experience Researcher and Designer with a passion for understanding users (and people in general!) and a genuine interest in human behavior.

My background in Sociology gave me a deep understanding of the research process and its necessity as the foundation of successful design. Besides showing the value of qualitative and quantitative data, it also taught me the importance of observation and active listening.

And my 8 years of professional experience in Client Support, Customer Experience, and the Airline and Travel Industry taught me that empathy and understanding of clients' needs are the keys to success.

I always stand for an inclusive, accessible design, and advocate for people while meeting business goals. I am committed to conducting effective research, that reveals true users’ needs, intentions, and behaviors, and transferring it into insights that impact the design and development process.

Discovering the beauty of the Pacific North-West

Always looking for inspiration

I am getting motivated by meeting with new people, reading, viewing sunsets, and learning new things. I moved to Washington state from the East Coast a year ago and can’t stop admiring the beauty of the Pacific North-West, as well as the amazing people here!

Among my hobbies are hiking (lucky am I to move to PNW!), pilates, taking pictures, and cooking new Medeterenian recipes in my kitchen.

I am a fan of art and design in all its forms! I enjoy art galleries and art museums, fashion, and interior design. When the time allows, I also like painting.
